SKU Data Checklist for DPP

Each SKU needs a set of data fields to generate a valid Digital Product Passport. This checklist covers the essential categories based on current regulatory drafts for textiles.

1. Product Identifiers

• ✓Batch or lot number (if applicable)
• ✓Product name and variant description

2. Material Composition

• ✓Fiber types (cotton, polyester, etc.)
• ✓Percentage breakdown per fiber

• ✓Weight per unit (grams)

3. Origin & Manufacturing

• ✓Country of manufacture
• ✓Factory name / identifier (if disclosed)
• ✓Manufacturing date or date range

4. Care & Durability

• ✓Washing instructions (ISO codes preferred)
• ✓Expected durability / lifespan
• ✓Repair information (if available)

5. Certifications & Compliance

• ✓OEKO-TEX, GOTS, REACH compliance status
• ✓Certificate numbers and expiry dates
• ✓Links to certificate documents

6. End-of-Life

• ✓Recyclability information
• ✓Disposal instructions
• ✓Take-back program details (if applicable)
